FOLLOWING on from a successful album launch at the Hotel Warrnambool last month, south-west country band Lost In Suburbia will do it all again at Port Fairy on Sunday. The album, which the band members have worked on for seven of their nine years together, received a great reception at its first launch as punters packed into the ‘Warrny’ like sardines. On Sunday, the six-piece will head to another of their spiritual homes – the Stump, aka the Caledonian Inn, in Port Fairy for an afternoon session. Lost In Suburbia grew out of the ashes of seminal south-west ‘70s band Nevada, which featured Suburbanites Peter Bird (bass), Trevor McKenzie (guitar) and Murray McDowall (pedal steel). Completing the line-up is Dead Livers veteran Michael Schack (guitar), ex- Slap ‘n’ The Cats member Rohan Keert (drummer) and singing teacher and Glovebox chanteuse Wendy Goyen (vocals). The 17-track album features some guests, some of whom appeared at the Hotel Warrnambool launch, including Shane, Marcia and Damian Howard.
