Liberty Theatre

Liberty Theatre is the name of a Warrnambool band from the 1970s/80s.  Tony Peel and Bryan Keillor played together in this band, The Feelers and  Breathing In Breathing out during the 1970s and 80s. In 2016 the reunited for "The Sleevehearts". The bands name came from a now extinct theatre - The Liberty - which opened in 1939 as a single story building that could seat 722 persons. The Liberty Cinema closed in 1956 and the site later housed a  Coles supermarket.
