Warrnambool blues identity Wally Edney is heading overseas - but his
fellow 3WAY FM presenters are not letting him sneak away. A farewell
concert has been organised for Saturday night at Warrnambool's Criterion
Hotel and will feature acts such as Andy Alberts, Slap 'n' the Cats,
Luke Watt, Duncan McKenzie and Friends, Larry Lawson and heaps more.
Wally has hosted his Blues on the
Boil show on 3WAY FM since the inception of the station more than a
decade ago. The farewell concert will feature music, dancing, puppetry
and spoken word from 8pm until late. The entry fee will go towards
funding 3WAY FM.
