Continuing the proud tradition of Aussie musicians nicknamed The Doctor, Matt Neal has been playing in rock bands (The 80 Aces, The Extreme Sprinklers, 21st Century Ox) for almost 20 years. In that time, he's been played on Rage and triple j, supported the likes of You Am I, Something For Kate and Dallas Crane, and won awards for his songwriting. Recently, he released the alt-country-ish EP The Party No One Can Recall. He's been banging on about doing that EP for years. On the
plus side, it features the awesome talents of Jarrod Hawker (The 80 Aces), Brady Jones (Red Eagle), John Hudson (Shane Howard) and Joe Gardner (Red Eagle). Together they are Doctor & The Apologies.
