Mailors Flat guitarist Mark Weston was one of many talented musicians to rock the city centre at the Day on the Green event on Saturday. Jemma Gillie, of Mailors Flat, and Stephanie Politis, of Warrnambool, (below) were among 300 south-west teenagers to soak up the sun and music at the Civic Green for the annual event's third year. Warrnambool City Council youth projects officer Damian Grigg said the event was an opportunity for young local musicians to showcase their talents and perform in front of a large audience. Some of the regions best up and coming were involved in the day - including Iron Horse, The Roaring 40s, the Common Seabirds and Chaotic Crusade.
