MUSICIANS from around the region have been invited to take the stage as part of Australian Music Week celebrations. An open mike night organised by students doing the South West Institute of TAFE music industry skills course will be held at the Royal Hotel in Warrnambool tomorrow from 9pm. District musicians are invited to bring their instruments for the night of fun, hosted by popular band Malcolm’s Trousers, Tonight from 9pm, the music industry students will host an open mike night for performers from all fields including poets, performance art and musicians in the Criterion Hotel cellar. As part of Australian Music Week the regular gig will be supported by the music industry skills course band.
