The career of Killarney singer-songwriter Nancie Schipper is set to take another step forward with the release of a new single. Long Fall will be Schipper's first release this year and follows on from a busy 2017, in which her album Sleeptalking and singles Corner Store and Your Eyes put her in the spotlight. Long Fall had its first airplay on triple j's Home and Hosed program on Wednesday and will be released to the public on Friday. Schipper, 18, said she was excited to bring some new music to her fans. "Long Fall is poppy, it's a flow on from my previous stuff," she said. "I'm stoked with how it has come out.” The song was produced by ARIA award winner Matt Fell, who was also at the controls for Sleeptalking. Schipper has also achieved some big things live over the past 12 months, including performing at the 2017 Port Fairy Folk Festival and the Live at the Steps concert in Melbourne. The teenager combines her music career with VCE studies at Warrnambool College.
